Oil Painting
Learn to create your own personal oil paintings from full-time artist and teacher, Ron Merchant. Learn to paint starting with the basics of composition. Teach your eye to see values, shapes and colors. Concentrate on subjects that have personal meaning for you. Bring your own photos of people or places, or set up your own still life. You choose the subject, we'll work together to help you create a successful personal painting. Emphasis will be placed on composition to set the stage for a successful start. Several methods will be discussed and demonstrated to move your painting through to a finished state. Come with ideas for several paintings. In addition to demonstrations, you will receive personal helpful critiques. All levels welcome. Adults only.
